Climate Ventures remains as committed as ever to supporting and scaling climate solutions, and working in collaboration with others to give rise to the Next Economy – one that is green, regenerative, equitable and prosperous for all.

We’re launching Accelerate from Anywhere: a joint initiative of the Centre for Social Innovation and Foresight Canada that will provide an “acceleration ramp” for over 160 early-stage cleantech entrepreneurs from across the country.

On June 30, supporters from across Canada and beyond tuned in to watch 16 climate ventures from our Earth Tech accelerator pitch live for $10,000.

When Adrianna Couto and Erika Reyes met at CSI, they instantly felt an “incredible connection,” largely ignited by their passion for sustainability. Neither of them could have predicted that just a couple years later, they would join forces as co-founders of Inwit, a social enterprise working to make the takeout industry circular and zero waste.

“This is not a time to toss our hands up and claim hope is lost: it’s time to lean in to unlock the other 50%,” writes Jeanette Jackson, CEO of Foresight.

The Centre for Social Innovation and Foresight are joining forces to grow Climate Ventures with the mission to accelerate climate solutions. CSI and Foresight will work on national programs and challenges, and bring Foresight’s cleantech programs to Ontario.

We’re hiring a Program Coordinator for Climate Ventures (and we’re very excited about it)! Working closely with the Senior Programs Manager of Climate Ventures, the position will contribute to the establishment and successful delivery of Accelerate from Anywhere.
