The Centre for Social Innovation’s Climate Ventures, in affiliation with the Social Innovation Institute, is recruiting now for the first cohort of Earth Tech: a six-month accelerator built for those working on freshwater and climate technology solutions that have the potential to positively and significantly impact communities and ecosystems across Canada.
With the support of the RBC Foundation and Bullfrog Power, and the expertise of WWF-Canada and top advisors, this program will help startups and nonprofits validate their solutions, advance their technology, grow their revenues, and create meaningful impact.
Applications to be a part of the first cohort in Toronto close October 25, 2019, and selected finalists will be invited to pitch in person in November. The program will kick off in January, 2020.
We’re focusing on freshwater and the climate because we know our ecosystems and communities are under threat, and technology has the potential to help transform our systems, giving rise to the Next Economy, one that is regenerative, equitable, and prosperous for all.
Earth Tech ventures will receive coaching from top Entrepreneurs in Residence and advisors, training, connections, workspace in our Climate Ventures incubator, and the opportunity to pitch to investors and funders.
Members and ventures in our past climate programs have earned and raised over $24M while advancing important climate solutions. Read more about what we offer.
