The 2017 Global Cleantech Innovation Index ranked Canada’s cleantech sector fourth in the world, in a market expected to be worth $2.5 trillion by 2022.
To help build on this success, CSI launched a one-year fellowship for entrepreneurs leading discovery to efficiency-stage cleantech startups reducing greenhouse gas emissions in Ontario.
The Cleantech Fellowship is the next iteration of our Agents of Change accelerator program, having supported over 200 enterprises and counting.
Cleantech Fellows had some huge achievements:
- $17.4M raised and earned (an increase of 481%)
- 95 jobs supported (an increase of 86%)
- 641 tCO2e in direct reductions through pilots.
Now, we are launching Earth Tech: an accelerator for tech solutions to climate and freshwater challenges.
